Sholem’s in-person annual model Seder was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but we are not lost in the wilderness! Sholem will host a communal secular seder on the second night of Passover We will come together on Zoom.
All are welcome for this non-religious, cultural celebration of Passover, that acknowledges the holiday’s origins as a spring festival and honors the story of Exodus as a symbolic tale of freedom. Our digital gathering will feature readings from Sholem’s Family Hagada, singing & music, an opportunity to share your at-home seder plate, as well as time for the kids at your home to go on an afikoman hunt!
RSVP and we will send you information for logging in to the online Seder, and a free PDF of our secular Hagada.
Participation is FREE but donations are welcome. Passover is a vital time for the fundraising efforts that keep our secular Jewish ship afloat. We suggest $10-20 per individual/family. Donate here.
If you can’t join us, but still want a PDF of the Sholem Hagada – perhaps for your in person seder with your Safer-at-Home companion/s – it is available here for $5.
There is a maximum number of participants allowed in this Zoom meetup, so RSVP now to ensure your space, receive the login information, and get your digital Hagada.
