Sunday, November 11th an illustrious group of performers gathers
at the MBar in Hollywood for the "CABARAISE" - an evening of song and surprises.

The line-up includes such greats as:

  • Rebekka Helford, long-time Sholem member and a musician with multiple talents and styles, from folk/rock to klezmer and everything in between

  • Jazz vocalist and Sholem mom, Amy Miller

  • Recording artist and jazz stylist, as well as new Sholem member, Angie Wells

  • Sholem music maven, recording artist, and superb songstress Linda Fisher

  • Grammy-nominated and platinum album legend Harriet Schock (composer of Helen Reddy hit,  "Ain't No Way To Treat A Lady")

  • Singer, songwriter and comedy writer Hillary Rollins (International tour of company of "Hair", founding member of famed New York nightclub trio "Hilly, Lili, & Lulu," staff writer for the Disney Channel's legendary 1990's "Mickey Mouse Club")

  • Funnyman and singing storyteller Bill Berry (ABC's "Sons & Daughters," host of the hot new music venue "The Songwriter's Square")

  • Trumpet jazz genius and recording artist Elliott Caine (The Elliott Caine Sextet)

  • Award-winning composer and performer Gary Stockdale (Showtime's "Penn & Teller:
    Bullshit!,"
    Penn Jillette and Paul Provenza's film phenomenon "The Aristocrats,"
    CBS's "A Home for the Holidays")

  • International singing star Sire (The Barry White Show; Cartoon Network's "Tim and Eric's Awesome Show, Great Job!")

  • Dani Shear ("Les Miserables," Bette Midler's "Gypsy")

 

 

This unique evening of entertainment has something for everyone, whether you're a folk fan,
 a cabaret connoisseur, a Broadway baby, a jazz head, or you just want to
 get out of those Birkenstocks and into that little black dress for a night on the town!

 

Full ticket price goes to the Sholem Community and Educational Institute
a secular Jewish school and organization bringing cultural education
and progressive values to Los Angeles for more than 60 years.
